I love Lakeside! It was just brilliant, we got to know the teachers, children and the leaders really well. Nik our leader was lovely! she made you feel really safe and made everything fun!

Thank you for the updates during the Yr6 Lakeside residential trip.
It's very exciting to read what a wonderful time all children are having and even more exciting to see the photos; the smiles on their faces, spreading from ear to ear are priceless!!!

my son have gone away to lakeside .Reading the daily run down on what they have been doing is great and just seen the pictures which had made my day thank you to all the teachers

just to say a mazzive THANKYOU to all the teachers that work at sandy lane as you have all been great (especially mrs norris, mrs jenkins, mr strutt and mrs person!!! Sandy lane has been great, im ganna miss it!! hope you all enjoy the production of 'The mighty tempest', we have worked our best to make it the last production we will do at sandy lane (as we are going to year 7) and mrs person and mr strutt has worked hard as well. i am at sandy lane for the week as part of my work experience along with my friend and it is absolutly brilliant we have loved every minute of working with the children and carrying out the simple jobs ..we really dont want to leave at the end to go back to Garth ..soo thank you ever so much for making us feel part of the team !! and we hope we can come back again sometime in the future.. bye and thanks again,, love from Sinead Allen and Shanice Butler xxx

Hi - I left SL in 1967 but still have memories of the Head Mistress giving slide shows in the hall, school dinners and lining up in the playground when the bell went. I'm now in New Zealand but I'm watching you. Is there still a hill in the playing field?

i am a parent to one of the children on this years lakeside trip 2008
I just wanted to say how great it is to read about how much fun they are having.
Its a great reassurance to know how much fun they are all having especially when there is no contact.
